Virginia, also known as the "Queen City", is located on the Iron Range and has been the center of attraction for many visitors.  Being part of the quad cities, which are Virginia, Gilbert, Eveleth, and Mountain Iron, the area is rich with community involvement and spirit.  The combination of the beautiful northwoods and a thriving business district in the Virginia area provide for an exceptional place to live, work, or play.  Being located on the Iron Range, there is no shortage of outdoor activities nor fun.  With activities ranging from atv riding to golfing, the Virginia area has plenty of fun to offer. Virginia is located around Silver Lake which offers plenty of outdoor fun to residents and visitors and holds the largest loon decoy in the world!  In addition to the fantastic outdoor activities the Virginia area has many great attractions such as the Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth and the beautiful open pit iron mine.
